| | Madonna Confessions Tour on NBC | ] | I forgot to tell Eng or Jan about this...so today another Filipino student gave an advocacy speech for my comm class. His topic? Freedom of speech...okay to clear this up, he's really an eyesore...prior to his haircut, he looked like ms. keane from the power puff girls..

*while im writing this my favorite brother in law suddenly messages me on how to download songs...*
going back, so this "ms. keane" who now looks like a lollipop
because he got a haircut starts out with Edsa II...pretty sensitive about this because I was part of it..well most of us were right? So, he says that only hundreds joined edsa II...clearly he has some math issues..he also irritates me because he wears a freaking denim jacket that's totally fine if anyone else wore it...he just makes it look cheap...so he then criticizes Bush...well yeah everyone knows how big of an idiot the president of this country is but my point is that he's just saying that because the whole class hates Bush...he doesn't even know anything about it...then he advocates how freedom of speech is important because blah blah blah...and ends his speech with "and if the guys up there, wherever they are, have a problem with it; i can just tell them .." then he gives the finger and says it out loud too...
I don't really care but my problem with him is that he acts all cocky!!! and at the same time he tries to talk with an accent...LIKE DUHHHHH...I can proudly say that me and my friends can speak proper english...and well as for me, I can speak in the whole english with the manila accent thing going on...but please...he just sounds so "pilit" my ears start to bleed whenever he opens his mouth. Let's be real okay?
*at this point I told my brother in law to dl kceasy, uhh haven't heard from him yet..I wonder what's going on...*
My teacher in that class never wants to read the questions I have for the advocacy speakers out loud because I seem to be too direct and all...whatever!!! So for his speech, I stated that having freedom of speech means being responsible with what the person says..and at the same time having respect for the receiver (clearly saying fuck you doesn't show this) well I had an entire sheet of comments and questions...all expressed with an educated tone of course...(I have to give credit to nushi for that)...arrrrghhh so I asked my teacher why she wouldn't read my questions out loud..apparently it's because if the speaker tries to answer my questions it's going to take too much time and might go right into a whole debate..well...as eng said...I might enjoy the seminar classes since I'm a war freak and all.
But i have to say, that kid, no matter how irritating and arrogant he is, I admire his ability to be able to express himself without being punched in the face...wait..i have to admit I have this inkling that he's going to get punched and beaten up one day...hmmm... let's keep this a secret but I can't wait for that day to happen. |
